According to the decision of LEN the 2020 European Aquatics Championships in Swimming, Diving, Open Water Swimming, and Artistic Synchronised Swimming, originally planned for 11-24 May 2020 in Budapest (HUN) and provisionally re-planned at first for 17-30 August 2020, are now confirmed for 10-23 May 2021, in Budapest (HUN).
With regard to tickets the principle is that spectators who have previously bought a ticket one of the events of the 2020 European Aquatics Champonships, they will use this ticket to the same competition, and the same event at the postponed European Aquatics Championships in 2021. (For example: if you bought a ticket for the 3rd day of the swimming finals to watch the men’s 200m butterfly show, during the European Aquatics Championships in 2021, you will be able to visit the 3rd day of the swimming competition in the same way, to watch the men’s 200 m butterfly finals, and your ticket will be valid for the same place – sector, row, seat).
Finally we’ll keep you informed about the further developments (such as the final competition schedule and the possible exchange and redemption of tickets) on our official website: https://len-budapest2020.com/, as well as at our ticket sales partner and through the online channels of the Hungarian Swimming Association.
The ticket sales for the competitions in May 2021 are expected to resume in autumn 2020, once the schedule has been finalized.
We believe it is realistic to hope that by May 2021 things will have returned to normal. In the meantime, we wish you good health and all the best!
We look foraward to welcoming you in 2021!
